Blessed

The past two days have been awesome. We are truly blessed by the things that are happening in Costa Rica. Monday we went to Los Guidos and walked around inviting children to the Christmas Party. More than 100 children came, but we could only serve 100 in the Community Center. Games were played, a craft was done with each child, and the gospel was shared by Alonso. We helped each child put together a manager scene which gave us the opportunity to share the real meaning of Christmas. We had a gift bag for all 100 children to take home. We were able to make new friends and see old friends as well.

Tuesday we started by going to San Jose and experience open air evangelism. We were able to walk downtown San Jose and experience things that we never have before. The gospel was shared by doing the Bridge paintings and handing out tracks. Ray was able to lead one young man to Christ. After lunch we went to a nursing home to visit and encourage. We sang Christmas songs and gave out a Christmas gift to each resident. We were able to pray with several of the residents and staff. There were even some residents that spoke english.

No flat tire today. God has been so good. (Sorry the pictures are sideways, we will do better next time.)

Living by Faith

Where to bring???? God is good and we made it to Costa Rica although we had our doubts. We had a blow out on the trailor tire on 85 going to Atlanta but it did not stop us. Got to the airport and was told that all of us would not make it on the flight. But with God's help we made it just in time to board the plane. Made it safely and had a great day of rest yesterday. This morning started with cold showers and fresh pineapple. Had great time at El Lugar worshiping then off to eat pizza. When getting it the van guess what??? Yes another flat tire!!! So now we are waiting for the third one. We went around inviting children to the Christmas party tomorrow and can't wait to see what God has in store for us!
